No magazine
In March 2008 Delaney launched No magazine with a laptop and a $2000 credit card. What started as a small but ambitious idea grew a cult following and a huge global readership. Covering fashion, film, photography, literature, art, music and street culture. No documented the lives of creative people and explored not just what they create and their successes, but also the screw-ups, compromises, loves, vices, influences and experiences that make them who they are. Every issue of No offered more than 190 pages of in-depth interviews, features and shoots with some of the world’s most well-respected artists, writers, actors, directors and agitators. No captured the spirit of a generation that is media savvy, discerning and confident. And that’s not easy, if you’ve ever tried it. Delaney was responsible for the creation of every page from photoshoots to design, writing and editing.
